From the what a difference a week makes department:

Last week, A.C. Ajaccio and Guillermo Ochoa were pounded by Valenciennes in a 3-0 French Ligue 1 loss.

On Saturday, the soccer boot was on the other foot, as they say. This time the Mexican international goalkeeper recorded a clean sheet and his team did the scoring in a 2-0 home victory over Evian TG FC.

Ochoa, who was called into Mexico’s national side for its World Cup qualifying series with Costa Rica (on Sept. 7 and 11), made two saves.
