Honduran international midfielder Emilio Izaguirre played the full 90 minutes and stoppage time to help Celtic salvage a 1-1 opening-day draw at Ross County in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
The defending Scottish champions needed a goal by Kris Commons in the third minute of added time to tie the newly promoted side.
Izaguirre, playing on the left side of a five-man midfield, set up two scoring opportunities.
He sent an 18th-minute cross to Georgios Samaras, but the Greek headed the ball over the crossbar. Later in the half, Izaguirre tried again off a break, but goalkeeper Michael Fraser caught his cross.
