Posted on July 18, 2012

Manuel Corona recorded a brace as the Mexico Under-20 National Team registered a 2-1 win over Dynamo Moscow en route to the Lev Yashin Tournament in Russia on Sunday.

Corona also scored twice in Mexico’s 7-0 tournament-opening win over Turkey’s Besiktas on Thursday.

The next day, Jesus Escoboza scored as El Tri tied Malaga 1-1 to reach the final.

Mexico will head, along with the United States, to the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland, where it will start play against Turkey on Saturday, before facing the host on Monday.

The U.S., two-time winner of the competition, will meet Denmark at Scroggy Road in Limavady on Saturday. Two days later, the Americans will take-on Turkey at the Showgrounds in Ballymena.

Mexico will host the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
