Mexican international striker Carlos Vela won’t be on loan to Real Sociedad in Spain any longer.
He has made a permanent move to La Liga club from Arsenal
Real Sociedad on Tuesday announced that it had reached a tenative agreement with the English Premier League club. Vela will play for the Spanish side for the next four years, according to the Real Sociedad website.
Vela, 23, who had been with Arsenal since 2005, recorded 12 goals and seven assists as the leading scorer for Real this past season.
He had failed to break into the lineup, prompting the club to loan him to Salamanca, Osasuna and West Bromwich Albion over the past seven years.
