MONTREAL — Jamaican international goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts, who was held out of the Reggae Boyz’ most recent World Cup qualifier as a precation, returned to the nets and backstopped the Montreal Impact’s 4-1 win over the Seattle Sounders in Stade Saputo opener on Saturday night.

Ricketts was credited with four saves.

He suffered a knee injury and was forced from the Jamaicans’ 2-1 home win in the CONCACAF Group A qualifying win over Guatemala on June 8.

As a precaution, Ricketts sat out — in fact, he did not travel with the Reggae Boyz in their scoreless tie at Antigua & Barbuda on June 12.
