Giovani dos Santos had a choice.
He could have played with in Major League Soccer and Russia or remain with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 22-year-old attacker declined offers from both and decided on the latter and now he probably will be stuck with the English Premier League through the summer transfer window.
The Mexican international has been wasting away on the bench at Tottenham, having played but 30 matches since joining the club from Barcelona in 2008.
“Tottenham told Giovani that Major League Soccer had put in an offer for him but the player has other plans,” dos Santos’ agent, Vincente Montes told ESPN Raza Deportiva. “As things stand it appears that Giovani Dos Santos will stay at Spurs.”
