CONCACAF announced on Friday that the draw for its Under-20 Women’s championship will be conducted at the confederation’s Miami offices on Sunday.

Panama will host the competition March 1-11.

The top three teams will qualify for the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The tournament field is comprised of host Panama, Canada, Cuba, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico and the United States.

The draw will split eight finalists into two, four-team groups. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, with the eventual finalists each earning tickets to the World Cup.

A third-place match will be played to decide the final World Cup berth.

A match schedule will be released at a later date.
